Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. On the welcome screen, tap Not now and start planning. Your trips are saved on your iPhone. Sign in with Apple when you want to sync trips between devices or share them.
How do I share a trip?
Open the trip and tap the person button at the top. Share the invite link and choose whether people can edit or only view. You need to be signed in to share.
Someone sent me an invite link. How do I open it?
Install Dayhop, then tap the link again. It opens the trip in the app. If it doesn't, ask for a new link.
Why are some travel times marked with ≈?
They're estimates from the distance between stops. Dayhop replaces them with real travel times from Google as soon as it can fetch them, which needs a connection.
How do I change the order of my days?
Open the trip, tap the ⋯ button and choose Reorder Days. Drag a day's plan to another date; the days in between shift over by one. Dates and hotels stay where they are.
Does Dayhop work offline?
Yes. Everything you've planned is on your iPhone. Searching for new places and fetching travel times need a connection, and changes sync once you're back online.
Where's the Live Activity?
It appears on your Lock Screen on the days of a trip that have stops with times. You can turn it off in Dayhop's settings.
Is there an Android app?
It's on the way. Trips are shared between iPhone and Android, so you'll be able to plan together.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, the trips you own and your place on trips others shared with you.
